Type 1.45 drawings are a class of semi-realistic representations that stand half-way between anime (t1.0) and contemporary potrait sketches (t2.0)
When PW2NMV3.0 was first established, drawings that initially accompanied it were initially done in t1.2 (anime) form. This was primarily due to the ease of reproducing multiple copies in a short period of time for visualization as new concepts came about towards the project.
However as PW2NMV3.0 progressed, it no longer required that multitude of drawings for conceptualization. Moreover, it became apparent that the characters within the project required more detailed (realistic) graphical representations to compliment their surreal personalities.
And hence 3 months into PW2NMV3.0, t1.45 pictures begin to conceptualize today.
Shown below are various pictures in both t1.2 and t1.45. Note the differences in the level of the Level of Detail (LoD). For comparison purposes, the incandescent-enhancing shading effect of t1.5 pictures are ommitted currently.
Original Concept for Kim (t1.2). She was supposed to be much 'cuter', more 'petite' and 'subtle' version of PW1NMV2.0- where she was actually of supermodel quality then.

Today's representation of Kim. Note the slight change of hairstyle, facial features and body proportions between the two versions. Also note that she is not of 'supermodel' quality but more of an average looking student. We do not intend to create a story about celebrities, in PW2NMV3.0, we want to potray life as realistic as possible.

Original Concept for Elle. She was supposed to be much thinner, taller and sharper than Kim. A female who constantly schemes, she was initially thought to be very bitter and unloving.
Today's representation for Elle. Note that much of those above-mentioned features were slightly softened from t1.2 to t1.45 to give a more realistic feel to the character. After all, it would be very two dimensional to diminish any kindness within her for just plain bitterness and hatred.
